Do you have a problem with your PC?
Here are some examples of things we have come across and repaired very quickly.

The PC was booting fine, but it was invaded by popups. You have a branded name antivirus and recommended spyware checker. You then run a scheduled scan, once the scan has finished, it detects and removes the malware. Now you can no longer login. This is a common symptom of a malware attack on your PC. The anti-spyware and anti-virus tools seems to have removed the virus, but has not fixed the damage the malware has done to your PC.

Do you have enough memory?
It is quite common for PC vendors to sell you a PC with the minimum amount of RAM memory. It makes the PC cheaper, but does not consider the implications of this short term sales tactic. You now have an underperforming PC that needs a memory upgrade just to bring it up to normal speed. If your PC is running slow and you have done everything to try to speed it up, then may be you need a memory upgrade.

Laptops are very lively PC's and get thrown about quite a bit with little regard to how sensitive they are to shock and violent movement. In this case there was a food fight and the laptop got some in its pores.
